Pole Handstands 1pm
2 hours | £45 per person
Bendy’s main speciality on the pole is handbalancing from her years as an acrobat growing up. Whether you want to improve your balance, overcome your fears, learn a large variety of upside down and upright balances on the pole or improve what handstand knowledge you have already – this is the class for you! First learn how to balance using the pole in loads of unique and exciting ways, then learn how to balance on the floor (on your own). This workshop can include; basic pole handstands in each grip, handstand transitions, planches, handstand roll overs, flips to handstand, bendy handstands, finger techniques for balance the physics behind finding your balance upside down! Level: All levels welcome.
Aerial Hoop 3.15pm
2 Hours – £50 per person
Bendy loves to explore beautiful and unique transitions on Aerial Hoop – combining them with her favourite bendy tricks! Join bendy in this aerial experience to learn a host of her favourite aerial hoop tricks and sequences. By the end of this masterclass you will be spiralling and encircling the hoop like never before!
Introduction to contortion 5.30pm

We’ll let you in on a secret – Bendy wasn’t always this flexible! She was simply nicknamed “Bendy” because there were too many Kate’s at the studio and she could do a split on her left leg!! To live up to her nickname Bendy then pushed herself hard and safely to reach the flexibility level she is at now. She has a first class degree in Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation BSc (Hons) which fuelled her passion for flexibility training as she understands in great depth how the human anatomy works and responds to this type of training. Her stretching techniques come from a variety of backgrounds including gymnastics, dance, yoga and contortion. Stretches covered in the masterclass include; neck stretches for chest-stand prep, shoulder stretches for foot to head, a variety of back stretches, chest-stands, bridges, splits in all dimensions/planes, active splits, standing poses and a gentle introduction into contortion poses. This masterclass aims to lengthen your; hamstrings, hip flexors, your stomach muscles (for backbends!), the muscles around your shoulders, your glutes, your quads and in effect elongate your splits and lines. You don’t have to have splits to come to this class but if you do Bendy will push you even further Make sure you notify Bendy of any previous injuries and plan some flexibility goals before attending this class. Level: All levels welcome but previous stretching experience is advised.
